This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of SEO 5 Consulting. All opinions are 100% mine.

We all know how devastations such as Haiti leave thousands of people without food, clothing, homes, shelters, and even parents but do we ever stop and think that this is going on all around the world — even without a natural disaster? I know it goes it, but rarely ever do I stop to think, How can I help?

I know that may sound bad to most of you, but I am being completely honest. This is why I chose to write about the following topic. I want people to stop and think, how can I help or what can I do. Sometimes asĀ  little as a dollar a day could make the world of difference in a child’s life. Today, I’d liek to talk about Plan Canada.

Plan Canada sis an organization that strives to let every child realize their full potential in societies that respect people’s rights and dignity. Along with their well trained volunteers, Plan Canada works with communities to build schools, educate teachers, dig wells, open health clinics, etc. They even help families with loans to start their own business and gain a better future. They are striving to make the world a better place for everyone.

There are many ways to help out, you can donate money or your time, sponsor a child, send gifts of hope — just to name a few. If you are interested in helping out or learning more, please check out PlanCanada.ca. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been looking into new swim suits for this upcoming summer. The reason I am so into swimsuits is because I’ve been trying to lose weight and I’ve actually been getting somewhere with it. Even over the holidays I’ve managed to lose 2.6lbs in two weeks. That may not seem like a lot to you but if you’ve seen what I had eaten in those two weeks you would know it’s quite a stride.

For my shopping experience I am using shopwiki.co.uk, I’ve blogged about thsi website a few times before. In my honest opinion it’s one of the best websites to purchase form because it’s results show you products from all over the web & it’s prices which in turn allows you to get the best deal and pay the price you want.

I used this website a lot in recent months with Christmas just passing. I never paid full retail price for anything (at least not according to our local sale flyers). I’d really recommend this website to anyone who shops online. Go ahead, check it out.. you will not be disappointed.

With that said, I must get back to looking for the perfect swim suit for summer. I won’t be ordering it anytime soon as I would like to lose a few more pounds but it makes for more incentive to do so.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

Bidazzled.com is a bidding website in which you purchase bids in advance and are able to use them to make a bid on your item of choice later. Every time a bid is made the auction price will increase, and so will the time that is left remaining thus giving other users of the site a chance to outbid.

This confused me a bit at first because I couldn’t understand when the auction would actually end. Then I started to conclude that in a live auction, it ends when the highest price is bid and no one else does. Bidazzled.com works the same way.

Some of what the website claims as it’s perks or highlights are as follows:

  • Auction winners usually save over 80% off retail.
  • Nobody Loses:
  • If you don’t win, you receive up to 50 Bonus Bids as a thank you for participatin.

Now I personally have not used this website but from what I have read about it I do believe it may be a handy one to use if you can make the right choices while doing so. I have read claims that people have won laptops for $1, I cant see it, but then again how can I judge until I try?

For those of you who may be interested bids are $1 per bid, and you can use coupon code BBP1202A to receive 15 bids for free when you register on the site. Bids can also be purchased in bid packs, and bonus bids are given with the purchase of packs.

Along with winter comes lots of changed, not only in the weather but in the body itself. Once winter hits you’ve probably been among flu season for a few weeks, you start to notice the days get shorter which sometimes can make you feel more tired and one thing that I notice is dry skin.

My skin gets so dry when transitioning from warm weather to cold, but I take as many precautions as I can. One thing I use is Nu Skin 180 which is described by the manufacturers as ” This clinically proven system diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles, refines texture, and evens skin tone for a more youthful appearance.”

Although it sounds like it’s more about lines and wrinkles it does an amazing job as a moisturizer. I use it everyday after I shower and my face is as soft as a baby’s bottom. Speaking of babies, for my arms, legs etc I use Huggies baby lotion. It also works great! Just thought I’d share a few tips for anyone who may be in need of them. Happy Moisturizing :)

I can remember wearing a snowsuit underneath my Halloween costume as a child, it was a very common occurrence actually. This year it was not necessary for the kids & so far we’ve only had a few flurries here and there, which is different from other years.

It’s not that I dislike snow, I actually think it’s beautiful! I just hate how it slows things down and can ruin plans. To be honest, as long as I saw some flurries on Christmas Eve, and the days surrounding I would be one happy person. There’s nothing nicer than waking up Christmas morning and seeing abeautiful blanket of snow laced among trees and houses. In my opinion, it just makes it Christmas.

With that said, I’ve been digging up a lot of our winter clothing as well as Christmas decorations (we are hoping to decorate this weekend). I’m sure both the winter weather & Christmas will creep up before I know it. I just like to think Iam prepared.
